     In 2023, the Geneseo Rotary Club presents our annual Summer Festival on Friday, July 7 and Saturday, July 8.
     A tradition since 1982, the Geneseo Rotary Summer Festival has become the most popular summer weekend in Geneseo. What started years ago as a small summer event held by the downtown merchants has become a source of major family fun in Livingston County.
     The entire downtown area (Main Street & Center Street) and the Village Park (at the south end of Main Street) are transformed into activity venues, entertainment venues, food vendor venues, craft venues and sidewalk sales for this wonderful celebration.br>      Activity & entertainment venues are in the Village Park and on Center Street. The activities include two Bounce Houses, a 78' Bounce House Obstacle Course, Corn Hole, Spike Ball, Laser Tag, Petting Zoo, Caricaturist, Festival Art Station for Kids and 3-on-3 Basketball. The musical entertainment on the Village Park Stage & on the Center Street Stage is outstanding -- showcasing a variety of local talent and bands.
     The Rochester Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra performs at 8PM Friday in The Geneseo Riviera on Center Street as Geneseo Rotary Club’s featured Friday evening concert.
     Saturday morning begins with the annual Teddy Bear Parade marching down Main Street and into the Village Park. The Teddy Bear Parade is for kids -- young and old -- and begins at 11AM.
     Traditionally, the Festival ends with a free Skycoasters Concert on Saturday at 8PM. The Skycoasters Concert always attracts a huge audience and rocks Geneseo.

     At the Festival – please support Geneseo Boy Scout Troop 4070, Geneseo Central School Class of 2024, Blue Knights Softball Team, Blue Devils Football Team and the Geneseo Interfaith Center who are each hosting a Festival Activity and receiving the proceeds of their hosted activity. Geneseo Rotary Club thanks Central Presbyterian Church, St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, Geneseo United Methodist Church and St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church for their on-site presence and Festival support.
     Geneseo Rotary Club especially thanks the Geneseo Community Main Street for their participation on Main Street and for sponsoring Center Street Concerts on both Friday and Saturday at 4PM.
